It’s unbelievable how so much can change in your life, so many things can happen that make the world around you spin, but hockey will never leave your side. Every time a problem comes up in life, hockey has never ran away on me or never disappeared. Hockey has never failed to ail any pains I have ever had In my life. For the two hours I spend on the ice during a practice or game, I’m in love and never want to leave the rink. Every single game still gives me the first kiss butterflies, always gets me jacked up like I just went seven rounds with Floyd Mayweather, and always leaves me with a smile on my face. Hockey has been my escape for as long as I could walk. No matter what changes In my life, hockey will always be there to keep me grounded. There is nothing like lacing up the skates and stepping on the ice. Hockey is more than a game.
